Reflecting on the endings of recent seasons of TV shows Bad Monkey and Slow Horses.

I enjoy both shows, but I also have read the books they’re based on.

Intrigued by what Slow Horses changes/elides, and somewhat baffled at what huge changes the Bad Monkey folks made.
Just… huge. Crazy.

I enjoyed the show, but it’s sort of an “inspired by” rather than a “based on”, right?

Any other combo readers+viewers out there? Happy to keep it spoiler free…

@Drwave Silo had quite a few differences to the book (Wool), too, that are pretty big divergences from the book. Some I understand as they make the the translation from book to show easier, others just feel more like a different story line. Will be interesting to see where Season 2 takes it.
