to anyone who uses hypnospace outlaw's tune sequencer to make music, i respect the lot of you beyond words rn, from what i can gather i can only work on two-bar-long patterns and just place them in an order?? this is my first rodeo with any music program like this so forgive me for sounding like a baby but TWO BARS AT A TIME? good grief
i like the sample selection and note input methods tho, and i like that those two bars can have separate layers to play with other samples ig, but maybe pattern sequencing just ain't my way of composing <:)

@okadaibro I haven't used this particular sequencer, but yeah it's pretty typical that you can only see a little bit at a time. Potentially you could set up lots of patterns first and work on one instrument at a time, like, do the bass part for 16 patterns, then do the melody for those 16 patterns etc. It looks like there's a toggle to switch between playing only the pattern you're working on or playing the whole song, so you don't necessarily have to just listen to those two bars on a loop. :)
