Hey everybody! I made a desktop case for the Macintosh SE and SE/30 so if you’ve got a spare board lying around check it out! It’s free and open source.

SE-COMBO - MacPicoVid Edition - Joe's Computer Museum

Inspired by the SE-COMBO, this new solution greatly reduces the cost of getting high quality video out of your classic Mac computer. NOTE: This adapter utilizes the 14-pin interconnect cable from your Mac SE or SE/30’s analog board. If you don’t have this cable, then a suitable replacement is required.

@[email protected] well done, I think the industrial design is spot on for the time!
@gutbomb The image looks like my IIsi (SE being a torx-required case)
@gutbomb Freaking joy man! So cool. You guys are super humble and this kind of work means a lot to me and I’m sure the community as a whole — thank you. I’ve been wanting to do something similar for years. Pretty darn inspiring. @RonsCompVids In the late 1990s and early 2000s, I used to buy Beige G3, Blue & White G3 and G4 motherboards (logic boards) on eBay and pop them into desktop ATX cases (and 3U rack mount) with modified ATX PSUs — the “CatMac” story reminded me of this.
