@UndisScot Its kinda cool that the sound of a phrase from 1200 years ago makes sense now even if the Norse languages have split in to different variations. :D
(to me saying "pladda" really does sound a bit like someone from modern Denmark trying to say a Norwegian or Swedish word but written by someone who doesn't speak any of the languages but comes from an anglophone background)
