Whelp, I'm bored.

The only ppl I can work up any interest in are the young male judge, his cop friend and the niece. The villainess does a great job, but she's not, like, a character. So there's about 15 minutes of the show I give a shit about and then an hour of absurd douche-bags. There keep being moments of "dramatic tension" and I am wondering "is there a way this can resolve where I will care?" and it is getting harder and harder to say "yes."

I also think the director of photography got a new job or something because the show lost a LOT of visual appeal. It used to slip in all these cool overhead shots and kept doing really interesting things with color and fundamentally well-photographed shots like the all-day time lapse in the warehouse (or w/e) with the puddle moving on the floor. All that's just gone.

Oh well.

You can talk to me about it @bougiewonderland , but IDK if I'm the pen pal you're looking for.
