@Jacobid it’s insane. I mean side stage seats in the 200’s are $345. wtf!!! Fortunately, I don’t mind being behind stage and pulled a ticket there for the 29th and 30th. But just crazy that any seat with a view of the stage is at least double face value. Idk why I keep doing this shit.
@Phreba Yea it’s really ridiculous. I also want to know the whole concept behind labeling it as charity. Is that what allows them to price gouge? Where’s my write off?
@Jacobid and I get it, sort of, for the best seats. Maybe. But the entire stage facing lower bowl, and stage facing lower 200’s for any night, not just nye, is charity platinum. Fuck that, I’m never paying $350 to see phish. Not happening.
@Phreba@Jacobid I've kinda been over this for awhile now. I've transitioned to small festies and don't do the big stuff anymore. No Dead or Phish Sphere. No New Years. No $345 Tix. I see a lot of shows but they are mostly small bands. Not a fan of the huge crowds anymore either.
@Conville@Jacobid Yup, I was moving heavily in that same direction. Phish holiday tour is such a long lasting tradition for me that it’s tough to not go at all. I’ve finally gotten to a place where I don’t need to go all 4 nights, especially at these prices. I did pull tickets for the 29th and 30th, think that’s all I’m doing.
