@haikushack yes! 😄 Pearlescent paints on black paper, they’re tricky compared to regular watercolors but worth the effort to learn!

@manyfaceted I have to do some research as I have never heard of the term. I started painting last year, so I still have tons of things to learn.

@haikushack thank you! Finetec paints are what I use—more expensive but much better results than cheap paints. The paper is Stonehenge, it comes in both hot and cold press, 100% cotton. :) good luck!!
@manyfaceted Thank you! Is it because the paper is thicker than normal? I use Canson paper and a few other brands. Do you think it would work too?
@haikushack you can use Finetecs on white paper as well, but they don’t show up as well.
