@emmniscient Ah, you just type in the hashtag and it does that automatically for you once it's posted :3

I wouldn't worry about it too much though, it still shows up when I search for the hashtag so even though it doesn't look the same, it still does what it's supposed to do

@emmniscient You didn't do anything wrong, it's more that I think Mastodon had a weird glitch about it or something
I just tested it and it did it automatically, sometimes things just get weird for some inexplicable reason

i edited my post and added those tags instead of doing it right as i made it. mastodon prolly can't go in and do stuff automatically in that case

Ms. Blue Skies is living here today!@emmniscient @tabitha Noticed this too, tried it out last night when this happened to one of Our own posts, and it seems to be contingent on adding a line break at the end of the post, and mastodon will then recognize that as hashtag space to be appended to the bottom of the post.
