HuxBear@KarenTraceySmith11 I'm ok. Not great. Been trying to find someplace that'll rent an apartment to me now that I'm in a rental-subsidy program & can "afford" market-rate rent -- $1,000-1,200 for a 1br apartment (versus the $365 that is the basic "housing allowance" on welfare). Sadly it's mostly been *literal* sh_thole, trainwreck places (a 300-sq-ft listed as "1br + den, 800-sq-ft" & consisted of a small bedroom, a small kitchenette-sized room connected to the small bathroom -- for $1,100).
@KarenTraceySmith11 (2) or places that let me view but oddly discover they've already rented it when I call back...then relist it for more $ the following week, or places that have an instant "No, we don't work with any housing programs. Too many problems!" & hang up. (( The "Poor-people\homeless = ick!" reaction... )) 😝😝😝
