If he stays flat, he has to catch and then reach -- an extra step that can be a problem.

also, easily overlooked on this drive are other Dak key decisions
1. on 1st & goal, when he's brought down just shy of the goal line, he didn't reach out & risk the ball bouncing through the end zone
2. on 2nd & goal, immediately jumped toward & recovered Rico Dowdle's fumble
Jalen Tolbert also deserves a lot of credit for the route he ran en route to catching the GW TD..CeeDee Lamb brought a lot of traffic his way the opposite direction & Tolbert perfectly navigated it to adjust his route & avoid contact/potential pick play
