Coming home from his soccer practice my son asked me why there were gas stations on 3 of the 4 corners of the intersection. My mind jumped to 30-40 years ago when all 4 corners had gas stations. (One corner is now a bank).

Then I proposed to him, someday, buy a corner lot, put in 6 or so dc fast chargers and open a cafe. All local owned and operated…. Why is this not more of a thing?
