Hey #linux folk. I am seriously considering if Linux is a realistic alternative to Mac for my daily work (php/laravel/statamic mainly) my only real experience of running Linux desktop has been Ubuntu a few years back.Been watching lots of reviews etc and trying to decide what to try narrowed down to fedora ( not sure about the red hat thing??) Debian ( attracted the the package manager as I know it a bit) and maybe arch (But worried about breaking it constantly!)

Any suggestions?

@rebornmedia openSUSE Tumbleweed KDE or GNOME?
@fleamour I had a look at opensuse tumbleweed.. have heard some good things about it.
@fleamour what would be the main draw for opensuse?
@rebornmedia Open QA testing, Zypper, Snapper & BTRFS.
