Highly doubt we hit Mexico.

1) My wife told Mexican customs “Fuck your fucking country, we are never coming back” after they tried to shake us down leaving a wedding in 2008 & vowed never to return. If you know my wife, she means what she says.

2) IF I was gonna do one of these shindigs, I’d probably want to do Phish.

With that said, I love what they are going for with multiple bands, a less corporate and more artsy feel, and choose your own adventure on lodging.

@chopaganda Im thinking of taking the wife. My love for War on Drugs is endless, I really like Dogs, idea of Sierra sitting in on mandolin with Orebolo sounds delightful. I have my issues of course. They included the entire 11Eleven roster but I wouldn’t have minded a smaller more self-contained fest. No walkability kinda bummer. But enjoy picking your own price point approach, makes it relatively approachable, all things considered. It is an interesting proposition for me.

@mattotaylor It’s is very tempting. The walkability factor could be annoying. Though it seems way more compact than the Playa festivals and no one complains there.

Wish the lineup was more diverse. I like Dogs and Eggy, but that’s a lot of high tier ham on the bill.

@chopaganda yeah, just feels like they said, let’s throw all the 11Eleven artists we can on a lineup. But in reality, how many artists can you really have on a small 3 day fest and still be comfortable. It’s very interesting. I won’t have the same fomo/regret as missing Euro, but still considering.
