@show In case you didn't notice it looks like Enel X (the company that destroyed JuiceBox) is officially shutting down.

I won't shed a tear for this company but it looks like the end is near for existing JuiceBox EVSEs.

I have two (bought the 2nd just before they forced the dreaded update). They both work for now but I expect that we will no longer be able to change any settings for them in the future.

@show To add, when you make a video about this (I suspect you will) you may want to recommend people ASAP download the apps that are (for now) available to (hopefully) allow JuiceBox owners to change some of their settings once the servers shut down next week.

Google Play Store - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.emotorwerks.xinstaller

Apple App Store- ‎https://apps.apple.com/us/app/juiceconfigure/id1548476970

According to the press release these apps will be pulled from the app stores next week as well, so JuiceBox owners should get them while they can.

Install and Configure your JuiceBox Wi-Fi and trigger firmware updates.

@show Sorry to update on this again. I just tested the Android app I linked to in the previous toot and found that the only functionality is to connect the EVSE to a WiFi network. There was no option to configure maximum current.

It looks like this functionality used to exist so maybe if one could find an APK of a previous version of the app they might be able to make it work.

No idea about the iPhone app because I don't have an iDevice.

@raitchison For what it's worth, we're still going with "replace the existing innards" :(
@show I get it, I'm hoping mine keeps going until I replace my Bolt (probably 3-5 years) at which point I'll buy a new EVSE with a J3400 connector.
