Future SprogThat’s all we used in Ngati Tūmatauenga. Alice Packs were great. Carry 35kg plus no worries.
My Dad gave me his old Mountain Mule which is a local version of the Alice Pack. Works really well. I miss the waist band though. Need to fit one of those.
And when we’re up in the bush one of the guys has a pack with a folding frame that opens out so you can put more gear on it, almost like a chair on his back.
