@maphew read it before. Problem is with Apple Notes I open the app, type my nonsense and is shared automatically across devices. With web social annotations I would have more capabilities. But I couldn’t even manage to login. Clearly not a realistic alternative.

@WuMing2 I think a key difference (assuming the login issue will be fixed) is that with Apple Notes only you can see the annotations. Also useful/desireable, but a different use case.

@maphew not sure what you mean. With Apple Notes I can share and even see who changed what. Still would like to see a -simple- self hosted web annotations solution.
