my wife is watching a documentary about people who believe mothman is real and it's extremely funny.

one of them, described in the chyron as a "mothman investigator", said "we know that mothman is real because several members of the TSA have reported seeing him".

@gsuberland in seriousness mothman is definitely one of the most fun cryptid. I’d say it was my favourite except that I should give that honour to the “Fresno Nightcrawler” for somehow pivoting from YouTube-cryptid to apparent queer icon
