We accept donated hardware, including old servers.

Currently, we are in need of Dell R730 power supply units - in case someone has one to spare.

@Codeberg you guys self hosts? On premise? I thought its all on the cloud (other companies computer).
@tengkuizdihar @Codeberg pretty sure hosting on other cloud providers would go against the ethos Codeberg is trying to support; DIY, self-hosting, open source, non-profit?

@tengkuizdihar @Codeberg I mean... we are very explicit about that on our homepage (but who reads all of that anyway) 😅

But yes, homemade and homegrown!

Codeberg is moving ... and what this means to you — Codeberg News

Codeberg is moving, and you can imagine, moving a mountain takes time and...

@Codeberg How many? Power? I‘ll have a look tomorrow
@Codeberg 2 pcs. 1100 Watt
Could you send me an address if the PSUs are still needed?
@Codeberg What about the risk of cyber security attacks by getting manipulated HW?

@Codeberg Are you interested in a CSE-826 chassis with a X9DRW-CTF31 board (dual socket lga2011v1) without any cpus or ram.

The chassis will fit most newer supermicro boards, so you wouldn't be locked into using v2 xeons.

@Codeberg I do have an old PowerEdge 2950 Gen 3 (I think) laying around I no longer use (without drives ofc).

Does guzzle a _lot_ of energy though (even with the single socket setup it has rn) so I doubt it's worth it still, but feel free to let me know if you guys are interested anyways and we can work something out.
Shipping would be from The Netherlands.

Additionally, I have a Dell PowerConnect 2748 as well (comes with 2xSFP 1Gbps fiber optic modules).
