I want a relatable super hero movie
@chartier Bruce Wayne using his money to manufacture insulin and distribute it below cost or free. Yeah, that would be a good story.
@atomicbird @chartier I'm feeling like Luke Cage could get to the "beat up insulin profiteers" stage pretty quickly.
@chartier Classic superman type shenanigans. - Angel

First he has to build a weird car, though.

@chartier Why not both?

Wage slave by day, vigilante that makes sure people get their meds by night.

"Hey. You seem awfully tired lately. What's the matter? Everything alright at home?"

*flashback to the previous night, during which they robbed PharmaCo.'s warehouse*

"...yeah, all good. Just pulled a few all-nighters for a raid 'n stuff, 's all..."

@chartier Early Superman (Action Comics) had him breaking into a Government's office to hand over newly found Evidence to save an innocent man from Death Row. With only minutes to spare, something only he could do.
@chartier
I remember a tumblr thread that took Capitan America down this kind of path. It was better than anything from the MCU for at least the past decade.

@chartier I wish there were more superhero stories where the hero actually moves on from the childish idea that beating up criminals is going to change anything.

How cool would it be if the scale didn't creep up because super-villains suddenly start appearing, but because the superhero just figures out that preventing the circumstances that lead to crime is just a much more effective and humane way of making society more secure.

Imagine having them face problems that they can't just punch hard enough and having figure out how their superpowers, whatever those may be, can be used for an advantage in a more political environment.

Imagine asking rich people to fund a movie like that.
