@rmccue Isn't it weird that Automattic is asking for financial compensation? It is not the "field" in the analogy that Matt seems to like so much. It's one of the other farmers.

Also, considering how Matt is a GPL advocate, he has to realize that there's no obligation for WP Engine to contribute in any way? And that they are allowed to modify the code, turn off features, etc?
