@rmondello Hi! Is it just on my system, or does the new Apple Passwords app for macOS Sequoia not remember window size between reboots? It keeps going back to the default size which is more wide than tall. Is this a known bug? I can create a feedback like you suggested last time if it's of any help, and give you the reference number.
@rmondello Actually it just changed back to the default again, without rebooting, all I did was use the menu bar icon, and when I alt-tabbed back into the app from Safari, this is what the window size looks like. What's going on?
@torsteinv Wow, that does seem potentially frustrating! Would you mind sending us a Feedback report and sending me the ID? I’d like to use your voice and words to track the impact of this issue.
@rmondello will do when i get back home! 🙏🏻
@rmondello Do you have a link to the Feedback report page? I assume it's not just the regualr Product feedback webpage? Anyhoo, I found the bug. It occurs everytime you resize the window, and then hit cmd+w to close it. When you now click the Apple Password icon in the dock, it has reset to default size. It only happens when cmd+w, not cmd+q or right clicking and quitting, or quitting from the menu bar or hiding. It's just cmd+w that does it.
@rmondello Here's a video of it. At first I resize the window, then I hit cmd+w, the window dissappears as expected, I then click the icon in the Dock, and the window has fallen back to default size. I then demonstrate quitting from the menu bar which preserves the user defined window size, and then I cmd+w again to demonstrate the bug again. Hope this helps.
@rmondello Are you still interested in hunting down this annoying Password app window-resizes-back-to-default-bug or should I just stop "bothering" you? macOS 15.1.1 didn't fix it.

@torsteinv No more hunting is needed. The bug is well-understood on our side. Just needs a fix.

I care about this one as much as you, so you’ll know I mean it when I say thank you for caring!

@rmondello ah super! yes i know you care, since you reached out so quickly to me back when i contacted you and wanted to help my voice get heard regarding the bug, i just didn't hear much from you after that. good to read you have a fix on the way. it was indeed a very annoying one. wish you a great weekend :) i'll let you know if i find more bugs.
