We are planning a corpus study looking at how 'yes' and 'no' are signalled in BSL, as traditionally BSL teachers claim that only non-manual responses were used, but this appears to an example of language change as we found a manual sign 'yes' is in the top 100 most frequent signs in the BSL Corpus.
