Jen@quixoticgeek every now and then someone here says that more busses on quiet routes isn't worth doing environmentally because you're just moving air, and I'm over here like, "run smaller busses?" But apparently that's somehow impossible because busses only come in one size. It's almost like gaslighting over the 23-seaters I rode regularly as a kid. And apparently nothing can be done about busy routes being packed because double deckers aren't real.
@JetlagJen a bus only needs to have a 21% occupancy to be more efficient than a car. The moving empty air argument is so flawed.
