is there any value, today, in building a high performance 386? or are you better off just jumping directly to a 486DX2/66?

@jswagner Unless you've some specific attachment to building a 386 you'd probably get a better experience going directly to a Socket 7.

It'll do early Windows 9x gaming, any & all DOS gaming, it'll have PCI & ISA slots, better HDD size support (you'll probably still need OnTrack though).

I'm really happy with my DX4/100 but sometimes I wish it was a P166 ya know?
