Northshore being based.
Which is actually pretty nice.
Sure, that means they will keep us as customers, but still... it's a statement that they made and took a stance.
And I am happy about it.
@GhostyCub Their warehouse, emblazoned with a giant "Adult Diapers" sign, is off of I-94 and I always give it a little salute when I drive past

@Rusty @GhostyCub Found it

Is Chicago secretly the ABDL hub of the world

@odo @Rusty @GhostyCub I guess it is typical market behavior. There must be high demand nearby...
@GhostyCub i am like 99% sure they are going to reveal an ABDL diaper at bfc
@ValkyrieRoo I hope they will and make them available in Germany as well. I think I would instantly have one of my favorites
@ValkyrieRoo That would be rad! I used to buy from them all the time, but I was drawn to other brands that had cute patterns on them
@ValkyrieRoo @GhostyCub Considering what we've seen from them over the past several months, I wouldn't be surprised.
@HarpoFluff @ValkyrieRoo Would be awesome.. If they Release it worldwide
@GhostyCub It's a cool post. But at some point, any medical brand was going to start aiming at us. We're a market, and they're a product maker.
@Shar I mean they could just play dumb and we will buy their stuff anyway If it is good.
So Yeah, while it is not altruistic, it's still a stance that I can respect
@GhostyCub Adam the owner of Northshore is an Incon person who found shelter in the ABDL community, so it only makes sense he'd want to give back now that the brand is so big
@Sickfreid_Tesla_Wulfrend That's great, I like that!
And it's even a bit similar to the Crinklz owner, another Brand that I like and which is quite ABDL friendly.
He's incon as well and was fed up with Bad medial diapers, so he made some that he like under a new brand. The base company actually has other Focus point.
Then he ventured into ABDL territory, released the Crinklz line (while still selling the Betterdry as a simple White option) and even drops by in Person to events or sponsors them.

@GhostyCub yeah better dry is a solid company

Apparently they had a partnership or something with tykables too, not entirely sure the details but like all my recent receipts from tykables mentions better dry as well

@GhostyCub I used to get Northshore diapers all the time. Partly because they were cheaper. Partly because there were very few other options at the time. I'm so glad they've embraced thier market, even if it wasn't intended.
@JD86 They are not my to go diapers as they are a bit more expensive in Germany. But I like them and always have a bag at home, even If their color range is a bit boring (I usually go for the Pink Option, as I can get cheaper, good White diapers and I am not really Fan of the tie dye or Black Version, or this specific pale Blue color they used.
Still great diapers and I really hope they embrace an ABDL print. Doesn't need to be furry, just something cute
@GhostyCub That's interesting to hear that they're more expensive over there. I always saw them as 'budget' diapers and I thought that was the trade-off for them being plain and... well, boring, to be honest. That was a long time ago, though~
@JD86 Everything that has to be imported is more expensive (which is probably true for any country, not just Germany)
Northshore is more expensive for a plain diaper, but still okay I guess. ABU also has a little markup as compared to the US price (but then, ABU is a bit more expensive anyway), but they have European sellers now, which lessens shipping costs a bit.
Tykables have quite a bit of a markup.. if you get them at all.
And TryAgains, which doesn't have a European seller, would cost me an arm and leg and probably a kidney as well. ^^'
For cheaper options (and they are up to this date still my favorite) I can get Crinklz and BetterDry for a really affordable price.
@GhostyCub ABU is kinda my go-to cheap option. I don't get the expensive ones. Tykables and TryAgains are pricey, regardless. I really like TryAgains, but I'm very hesitant to get them because of the price

@JD86 Abu is expensive enough for me with ~3,50€ per diaper.
And they don't fit me well, at least most of them don't.
But I wear them, occasionally. At least the ones that somewhat fit me, like LittleKings and Peek.

Most of the time I stay with Crinklz and the Megamaxes and I don't wear often anymore.
Lost myself.
Hope some day I can find myself again.

@GhostyCub I saw this coming a mile away, but I figured they would wait a lot longer to actually do it. Northshore has planted their flag in the sand about being open and confident about diapers; it only makes sense that they'd go after one of the three groups that wear diapers a lot (and have adult money to spend!)

I appreciate their support, though, and it might mean there will be more products and variety in the future. That's never a bad thing!

What I'm hoping for, though, as far off as this may be, is training pants themed around the new animal mascots. I think it would be adorable and an instant winning product

@DankandDebauchery Gawd.. functioning pullups that are not granny pants and hold more than a shot glass before leaking... I would be instantly sold
@GhostyCub I KNOW, RIGHT. They have a chance to do something awesome. It also helps that some of their competition like LFB just blew their own foot off lmaoooo

@GhostyCub I love this stance and will totally share it.

It's like when my nurse mom basically told me to go ahead and wear my diapers when she found out.

"You spend both ends of your life _needing_ diapers. So what if you decided to skip the middle section always wondering where the nearest bathroom is?"

@jmac32here I'm glad I'm not living at home and 200km away, because my parents would totally freak out...despite kinda needing them. Or at least I'd have mad dashes for a toilet every time I leave the house.

Glad you mum is cool about it!

@GhostyCub @Valentalae In a funny way, North Shores stance on ABDL is why I use them entirely for medical purposes. I’ve never even thought of looking at another brand. An ABDL I love very much, gifted me with some of their products when I admitted how much I struggled with incontinence my whole life.

Now, I occasionally will use a pair for recreational purposes with that particular ABDL but I really am a medical customer for them and it really is because of that stance.

@Solace_sorrow @Valentalae Thank you sharing your Story! Of course it sucks, being stuck with incon, but it is still great how that worked out... and partially because of their stance towards both medical and recreatinal use.
(also there are too many bad medical diapers on the market -.-)
@GhostyCub @Valentalae The ABDL in question has nicknamed the little black pull ons that I get from them my “lingerie “. 😳
@Solace_sorrow @Valentalae Which completely normalizes it.. and that is great ^^
