The plastic films on my Rivian R1S displays are still intact.

Is it just me, or do others leave the protective film on too? Planning to trim the tabs for a seamless look. The tabs are asking me to pull them off lol

Any pros/cons if I leave the factory installed films on?
Update: I took them off. It wasn’t as hard as I thought

@firerock31 I don't know how much protection that actually provides, also I think it causes more glare? I have the matte version of this on mine: https://twraps.com/products/screen-protectors-for-rivian-r1t-r1s

I really like it. Cuts down the glare a lot for the main screen. Although you do lose some brightness.

Screen Protectors for Rivian R1T / R1S 2021-2025 (9H Hardness PET)

I left the plastic film on my car’s display as long as I could as well (until I put a new protective screen on it)
Good to know i'm not alone. No bubbles yet
lol I still have mine on too
Team factory protection film!
Is this rage bait? Please tell me this is rage bait.
What on earth is that GPS map? Looks like something out of the early aughts.
I think it's from Mapbox. The traffic and routing data is from Google Maps
Ah no Apple Maps via Caraplay available?
Con: leaving them on makes you look like a serial killer
Left it on until I had screen protectors, which wasn’t too long 😅.
