lovely saturday in forest park with oneida. much from the new "expensive air" plus gian carlo feleppa on sitar for the live debut of "O" & original member papa crazy on farfisa for a few tunes. a true all ages show, lotsa under-10s throwing themselves around to the O. great opening set by basic, too, featuring chris forsyth & mikel patrick avery & (making his basic debut) tortoise's doug mccombs on bass vi, cool pulsing of drum machine, different octave guitars, & live percussion. #queens #nyc
