Today we had to put our Tina to sleep. She had a tongue cancer that came up suddenly. She was an old lady of 14 years whom we adopted from a household where two old people had died quickly one after the other. She was with us for almost three years, and it’s hard to say whether it was us adopting her or the other way around. She was incredibly social, and looked after all five of us.

We miss you like crazy, but we didn’t want you to suffer. Better we suffer now than you. Farewell, my beauty.
