so: the footnotes thing is like 99% just firefox's reader mode being a ding dong about the footnotes class name

tranquility reader addon, reader mode in chrome, and immersive reader in edge (eck) all display the footnotes just fine. i have no idea why firefox's reader view is being a goof about this

but for funsies i did open an issue on the kramdown github about it sharing my findings + seeing if they think a custom footnotes div class config option would be useful  

and with that i think i'm done worrying about it. firefox's reader view in specific is being weird but the other reader modes i've tried are fine. my urge to go silly mode and write a custom footnotes thing is gone. i'm just gonna roll with it. i have other things i need to worry about
