I knew Trump was way worse than the main media outlets were admitting, but this is something else. Nobody speaks in grammatically correct English, but this isn't even close to oratory—this is the sort of disconnected word salad you expect of a dementia patient.

If this is Trump right now, within a year he'll be medically unfit to stand trial.

@cstross The US media has been deliberately hiding his cognitive decline — it’s been called “sanewashing” — because nothing has juiced their gross revenue like four years of Trump. Turns out a terrified country turning to daily news is good for their bottom line. So they don’t ever mention that his language clearly shows he’s just not all there. They pretend he’s fine. They normalize.
