Despite the gorgeous weather, I ended up doing a lot of gaming with the boys this weekend.

First - Ultimate Chicken Horse, a multiplayer platformer where you collaboratively build the course with your fellow players, then compete to see who can be the best at completing it.

It's honestly really fun with the right crew, and butter smooth both local and online. It does have a lot of shooting and (cartoon) deaths, so best for older kids and up.

We had a lot of fun, but my biggest takeaway is that *it really matters how you play together.* Gamer Kid is a winner-takes-all player, which led to games where he would actively try to kill us less-skilled players. I had to have a convo with him about how, since we have wildly varying skill levels, it's important that we play in a way that lets *all* players have fun. He seemed to take it to heart - looking forward to more balanced games to come.
