Martin Whitworth@ddrake @ColinTheMathmo it’s always cool. To think that there are people up there - it’s amazing what we can do. However, I think of those currently stranded there. Space travel is risky. Let’s hope that we can bring them home safely. Interesting that you saw it in light skies. I’ve only ever looked after dark.
the roamerYeah, so so cool. My daughters and I watched it fly by from our garden when it literally flew over our town this July, almost at 90 degrees, just one or two kllometers off.

Out in the garden with our young daughters, well after bedtime, to see the International Space Station cross our sky. The ISS tracing websites show the exact path it takes. As it happens, tonight the path went right over our town. I expected a dim, dubious object timidly finding its way, instead we saw a bright light boldly coming from behind the neighbouring house to the West, flying over our heads at incredible speed, then dashing off eastward above the high street, too busy to stop. #ISS
