Many people are saying I shouldn’t be satirical because people misinterpret satire.

But the thing is, the fact satire—even obvious satire—is misinterpreted is exactly why satire should exist.

Satire skewers reality, and reality is funny.

For example, when people say that music shouldn’t exist—that is funny, and should be skewered.

@atomicpoet we've entered the Dongularity a while ago.

#DONGULARITY:
1. A hypothetical point in time at which the boundary between reality & satire becomes indistinguishable, due to real-world events mirroring the absurdity or extremeness typically associated with satirical content.
2. The condition or state of affairs in which it is impossible to differentiate between genuine occurrences & their satirical representations, often marked by a sense of surreal or bizarre reality.
