Masto actively fights me.
I try to look at some things and it will hide the image only showing the Alt-text, and i don't know if it is a bug, an annoying feature that got implemented that i have to navigate seven hundred menus to disable, or if this instance has decided for me the things i can and can not see on this account.

It drives me mental, and reminds me everyday that i can't get the experience i want from this place no matter what i do.

@BPStuart That sounds like a bug, is it with remote media or from other meow accounts?
I'll bump that to sysadmin so it's looked into

@Nomaxice Remote i guess? it is within Mastodon but the address doesn't look like it is part of Meow.

@BPStuart Gotcha, I sent the thing to the sysadmin, I'll let you know if he finds anything or needs more details, if he doesn't poke you first!
If you have the exact posts/users that this happens with, it'd help a lot too.

Sorry for the inconvenience regardless, I can imagine it'd be a pain in the ass very fast
