@rasteri Great video and super jealous, love to be able to tinker witha 5150 - maybe just for the Power Switch :) If you're interested in noodling with the Cassette interface, I made a tape conversion of the PC Booter game PC-MAN (half decent pac-man clone) that *I think* should work fine loading from Cassette/ROM BASIC:

I've tried it from MAME 5150 emulation and my own homebrew XTjr 8088 based machine with the IBM ROM BASIC added, but love to know if it worked on the OG PC...

@mogwaay oh damn I wish I'd known about this a week ago! That's really sick mate, I'll 100% give it a go when I get back from holiday.
@rasteri I wish I'd known you were restoring a 5150 and wanted to play with the Cassette interface! 😋 I think it should work with almost a barebones, floppy less 64kb machine as the main spec, so could be fun to see how little PC you need to play pacman on 😁 Anyways fun for after your hols, hope youre having a good one!
@mogwaay yeah one of the things I wanna do is see exactly how much you can do with a totally unexpanded 5150. I have a 16kb motherboard too actually...
@rasteri VW Westlife did a nice video loading all the known official tapes for PC, all 2 of them I think! Its what made me want to expand the library - that and to make PC users suffer like I did with loading games on my Speccy back in the day 😁
