This weekend, #TeamRadar started observing the asteroid #2024ON . It is also a contact binary: https://echo.jpl.nasa.gov/asteroids/sep2024.goldstone.planning.html .
Roughly one out of every six asteroids in this size range is a contact binary, so two flying by a few weeks apart is pretty common.
