So we have 20 App Store updates that are in the pipeline that we'll be shipping by Monday!

(We also have a number of updates that we'll be shipping directly from our own website, including the latest compatibility update for OmniDiskSweeper.)

@kcase Update #OmniWeb to work on #Sonoma, you cowards 😜

(j/k I know it’s an unsupported and unstable passion project)

[ticket OG #2974906, OmniWeb (6.0 test (v634.0.14) (Jul 19 2024)]

@mjgardner Oh, I hadn't seen that crash report yet! I do use OmniWeb every day on both Sonoma and Sequoia, so it's definitely working there—and I'm using that same build that you sent the crash report from.

Looks like it's crashing in WebKit when initializing a new WKProcessPool. But I'm not sure why it would be having trouble doing that on your system but not on any of mine…

@kcase AJ R. from support’s last message in July said they see the same crash as well on an older version of macOS #Mojave when trying to create or change to a different #OmniWeb Workspace or when trying to access History
@mjgardner Ah ha, yes, I figured out how to reproduce the crash (set a bookmark to check for changes and to be unviewed, then restart the app) and verified that moving that initialization logic to the main thread solves the problem. Should have a build out later today with that fix in place.

@mjgardner The new build is posted:

Let me know if it fixes that crash for you!

OmniWeb test builds

@kcase Looking good, back in business with #OmniWeb!
@mjgardner Excellent. Sorry for missing that crash report earlier, and thanks for bringing it to my attention!
