The rainforest conversion that beef generates is more than double that generated by the production of soy, palm oil, and wood products (the second, third, and fourth biggest drivers) combined. Beef also converts grasslands to savannas.

@Herbivore this is true. The disinformation around soy's contribution to deforestation is horrible propaganda.
To back up your comic, here's some data on soy consumption distribution:

In 1961, it looks like about 20% of soy was consumed by humans for food. In 2021 it was just under 4%.
So soy is a deforestation contributor. But 96% of that is for animal feed, fuel, and oil.
