AnnaDespair and feeling hopeless are the strongest tools of fascism and tyrants. I know it’s hard to be hopeful when you feel like a third of the country wants you dead or imprisoned and another third is ambivalent. Be hopeful anyway.
I know persisting out of spite only takes you so long, so far, but PERSIST. Be determined to persevere. Even if these are the only things you can do, the energy and outlook matter. They do make a difference, and if you can do more than that, of course do so.
Be hopeful, and vote. Please.
