Mass production of "smart" hydrogen-powered trams intended for delivery to Malaysia has begun in China, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The project is being implemented by CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute Co., Ltd. in the city of Yibin.
