It seems Yesterday there was a debate at the other side of the pond (USA) between candidate from the ruling party A and candidate from political party B, the only two parties US people can realistically vote. It seems it was the void American spectacle it has always been.
Honestly, from Europe, it always look like US people are trapped in a situation where they can *only* vote for either party A, making no big gains at all for people, only trying not to lose more rights (like, I don't know, abortion); or voting to party B, and be sure that people will lose more rights to the gods of their oligarchy.

Did any of the two only US political parties in the so called debate talk about, I don't know, abolishing at will employment? Applying universal health care? Guaranteeing the right of abortion? Guaranteeing the right to housing? Changing the political system to guarantee political plurality in a multiparty system?

Of course they didn't. They don't care, as in their continuity system, regardless of what they do, they will keep ruling. At much, they will wait some 4 or 8 years and that's all.

Long ago, when I knew absolutely nothing about US, I received a serious offer to relocate there. After some rather basic research, I decided that I would have much less rights (as a worker), health care was absolute hell (my wife is chronically ill, so USA is a big no) and my family and I, in general, would have a considerably worst life quality in comparison to what I had (which now is even better), so I kindly refused the offer.

I have never regretted this decision. Only the opposite.
