3,958 in my inbox - and instead of stress, I love it. Over 1300 of those are because I, apparently, never deleted my xenophobia.com nextdoor account.
xenophobia.com lol, thatās so true though. On mine there is a lady who posts about 100 times per day, so she clearly doesnāt have a job. And she is obsessed with thinking there are gunshots. We live in a super safe suburban neighborhood. There are no gunshots. Itās hilarious.

I stopped visiting very shortly after it opened up because every post was stuff like you said:
- "Where those gunshots?"
- No it was the prick 2 blocks over that lights off fireworks all year long or the train yard thatās about a mile from here.
- "Tall man in hoodie walks down street! Who has photos?"
- I might. Iām tall, usually wear a hoodie, and am able to walk.
- "Thieves walk among us! I left a bowl of walnuts on my porch overnight and now theyāre gone!!!"
- That explains the squirrel sitting on my fence patting its belly.
I used to think I just had extra shitty neighbors, but Iāve heard similar from a lot of people.

Omg, my neighbour feeds the squirrels also, because he thinks they canāt fend for themselvesā¦ So I had shells, bread, trays for water, etc. just littered at my front door. While he lives above me, not thinking about the consequences of feeding wild animals.
We did have a hilarious troll who would rage about people taking a shit in their mailbox. Or maybe someone really kept shitting in their mailbox. Either was it was an entertaining read.

x00zaI had this before, but with 7k emails I think.
I just took an hour or two of my time to clean it up completely.
- Find an email from a service that you donāt want
- Click "unsubscribe"
- Search all emails from the service
- Delete them all
- Repeat
When clicking āUnsubscribeā and you are redirected to a mailchimp or similar email service, select āI did not sign up for thisā. This way they can get in trouble with their email service :)
Usually I did sign up for it though :/
Well Iām from Europe. Being added to marketing mails without my explicit consent is illegal.
Itās funny because I have a GDPR complaint against a big online service that added me to their marketing list after using their online contact form to get some information. I thought it was a simple complaint but a few months later I got a legal document outlining all of the infractions they made and that thereās now a case open against this company.
If you signed up for their mails willingly thatās a totally different story of course.

I donāt respond to texts on that number because text messaging isnāt a proper channel for official communication.
