I'm a huge #senorcoconut fan, but as much as I love their albums, I didn't know any of their videos. Of course, they are pretty fun to watch. ;)

Did you know, the producer and mastermind behind the project is originally from #Frankfurt, Germany?

@sustainrelease The "Tour de France" video had some exposure on VIVA/MTV back in the days, so I've known it :)
As I've also known the first records as Lassigue Bendthaus the new style was really surprising, but I loved it. Uwe Schmidt also created some glitchy electronic cover versions as "LB" before becoming Señor Coconut. His vast output is available on Bandcamp:

Thanks for the #Bandcamp link. I'm a huge fan of Uwe Schmidt's work and haven't actually been following him there yet. 👍

I'm quite familiar with his other works - partly even more than I used to be with the Señor Coconut stuff. I also had the chance to interview him and some members of his "Chile Connection" for local radio or magazines. He's really a cool dude!

@sustainrelease Oh, that's cool. If I recall correctly I think he even developed some software to achieve the sound manipulations he was searching for.
