Having bugs, mold, mice or other living things in human spaces (even outdoor spaces) is seen as a sign of neglect and linked to poverty there stigmas when talking about the wildlife in our homes and gardens. Indeed poor management of the ecosystems, that are rarely recognized as being ecosystems at all can lead to upsetting an even dangerous conditions.
The polite fiction that no one has a roach or mouse in their house is counterproductive. You cannot manage what you refuse to see.
I found a version on etsy, though I've seen many "bug artists" produce version of this quote and graphic so if anyone has something like this they could post a link. I don't know who came up with it first.
