@rizzi Why is there no Lifetime avalable? I hate subscriptions. Everyone is doing this terrible subscription stuff.
@jensreinhardt @rizzi I see where you’re coming from-but here’s my take on this: I think @rizzi does a great job here. The “old” Reeder isn’t going away. The new Reeder is free to start. Evaluate it, and if you like it, consider subscribing. It’s affordable. It’s the income of a sole Indy developer. For me, this goes into consideration-I’m not working for free for my employer neither.
@appfrosch I understand. But it's a matter of principle. If I do justice to everyone, who introduces a subscription, I'm poor. We only have these subscriptions because one person has started and everyone is following. A social problem once again! And I don't think that the Reader Classic is maintained with the same value as the new one. But I will definitely take a look at the app.
@jensreinhardt I guess emphasis will be on the new app, you might be right about that. Which is fair in my books, cause why should you get new features for free for the old app you paid once for and potentially have been using for years? As long as updates are provided so that it keeps running for a substantial additional time, that’ll be fine. But hey, we can always agree to disagree. Different opinions at important, and I respect yours.
@appfrosch Thank you, unfortunately that is rare. The price is really very fair for the app. Almost too cheap for the quality. But basically I just have something against subscriptions.
