Personally I don't need one cos I still have my blockchain-powered washer. It's not great at cleaning clothes, but I did use it to put my house deed on-chain and I'm afraid that, if I unplug it, some techbro is going to sue me for land-use rights. I would just transfer it to the cold storage wallet in my crypto coffee maker, which has the benefit of being more portable, but I'd have to mint a CAFE token to do that and the fiat cost of the BEAN tokens you need to stake first is just ridiculous.
Now you might be asking, "Why don't you just leverage the IICE coins that your fridge makes from micromining on the Glacier protocol and selling pictures of your family from its IoT camera to borrow some BEAN tokens?" But that's unfortunately impossible since the people running the Glacier DAO did a hard fork and now everything is on the Glacier Freeze sidechain, so I'd have to bridge from my now-NIICE tokens to IICE coins . . .
. . . and the transaction rates haven't been favourable ever since the Glacier guys had that whole issue with the WEED IPO and one of them was outed as having "problematic" views on the age of consent. In fairness to me, I didn't see it coming; he said he was a "free-market libertarian", and it's not like that ideology has anything to do with social issues. >.<
