- use the Windows Subsystem for Linux WSL
- set up a virtual Linux machine
- use a Linux live instance

With a Linux live instance, you can also directly check your hardware for compatibility.

WSL or virtual machine gives you the opportunity to test your use cases and suitable software for a longer period.
