Bleargh. I have learned many homekeeping skills in preparation for moving away from my parents (which hopefully should happen early next year--)

I always make too much or too little.

Yes. It's not always easy. I'm 63, I still get it wrong. The freezer is my friend, for sure.

Also, many things are hard to buy for a single-person meal, and that really doesn't help. Though the way round it is usually forward planning - cook twice, eat one, freeze one.
