Tonight’s reading. Over *45* years in and I swear the current run of 2000 AD is as strong as it’s ever been. If you like comics and you’re not reading *this* comic, I don’t know what to tell you. Well, other than to start, obvs. #comics
@craiggrannell I binned off my subscription and try to back interesting kickstarters instead. Some haven't worked out too well but "I took a hammer to hell" was a recent favourite. I'm currently waiting on the new killtopia collection which is looking excellent.
@craiggrannell I read a few 2000 AD comics as a kid, if I was to start off again, any advice on where I should start?

@i_jason Depends on how much you’d like to commit. There’s a six-volume ‘Best of 2000 AD’ trade paperback series that was designed as a kind of 2000 AD ‘mix tape’. That’s a really good option as a (re)starting point.

If you want to jump back into the Prog itself, the upcoming 2400 is a jumping-on issue. The previous one was 2351, last September.

2000 AD is Britain's cult sci-fi comic, and has been at the cutting edge of contemporary pop culture since 1977. It's a multi-award winning cocktail of explosive sci-fi and fantasy, infused with a mean streak of irony and wry black humour.

@craiggrannell great. I might try the six-volume mix-tape. Thank you
