People don't know that #Trump's riff on John #McCain was based on a scene from #WoodyAllen's 1998 film Celebrity. The scene is a nasty old grandma surrounded by her adoring family, saying "What's he famous for? For being captured? Why is he a #hero? It’s no feat to get #captured."
Trump is in the film in an unrelated scene for about 10 seconds.
I've never seen anyone report on this, but it's clear to me where he got his lines.
